FAQ

General Information

Where do you make your glassware?

All the products on this are hand made in Atlanta, Ga

Where do all the bottles come from?

Our bottles come from local bars and wineries that participate in our recycling program. We have a network of suppliers.

In the future we hope to work with glass manufacturers and acquire batches that have failed quality control and are slotted to be crushed and reformed, which takes a lot of energy and cost to do so.

Do you have a patent?

No, not yet. We are looking into “prior arts” and hope to acquire some sort of umbrella patent in the recyclable, reusable, glass bottle industry.

Are the specific brand logos permeant?

Some bottles have logos with stickers that can or might fade off and be removed, others are etched and thus permanent.

A friend of mine said that it is very easy to cut glass bottles using a torch and a piece of yarn soaked in lighter fluid.

Yes, there are many odd ways to attempt stress fracture of glass. Most of the time the result is two oddly shaped broken pieces of glass with sharp edges. We cut our bottles with a Rigid Wet-Tile Saw. The diamond blade on the saw cuts very efficiently. Any course edges are sanded down with diamond grit sandpaper. In the Future we hope to get a Glass Kiln so that our bottles can be fire polished.

When will my order ship?
In-stock products are typically sent out within 1 - 3 business days. Any delays might be caused by raw material shortages, and seasonal sales spikes. We will however keep an updated website so any placed orders should always be in stock and shipped in 1-3 business days.

The website should be integrated to automatically track ‘in-stock’ and ‘out of stock’.

How are shipping charges determined?

We charge a rate that is based on the weight of the package for shipping ground. The total weight of your order determines what is charged for shipping.

If you have any questions regarding shipping, please email us at brandonmonk14@barlights.biz or call 706-302-9745

What is the return policy?

We are committed to forming strong customer relationships, thus we will work with you to fix any problems you might have. If you have an accident and break one of glass pieces, just ship it back and we will send you a new one (if the product is a rare bottle this offer does not apply, if the bottle is difficult to acquire will still help you out but it might take longer to acquire and reship the order).

Once we have a kiln we hope to perfect ‘The Prince Rupert Effect’ thus providing you with unbreakable glassware.
